Quick update and some key learnings… And what comes next?

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I last posted and I’m excited to reconnect withyou all. I’ve taken a step back, prioritized self-care, and just finished my Master’s in Biomedical Sciences. Balancing the demands of academia and personal well-being was challenging but an essential journey that taught me a lot. Now, as I dive back into blogging, I’m eager to hear what you’re interested in!

Last semester was a whirlwind as I immersed myself in my master’s thesis. Finishing it last week was a significant accomplishment. The process required my full commitment, resulting in personal growth and a newfound ability to prioritize.

Transitioning from scholarly writing to personal blogging was a shift, and I felt constrained in expressing myself fully. Nonetheless, it’s a learning curve I’m navigating, and I appreciate your understanding.

Now that I’m back in Germany, I want to share more about my experience as an NCAA athlete, a topic that has resonated with many of you. Stay tuned for more stories! In addition, I’d like to create a series featuring others who have studied and competed in the NCAA. Each individual has a unique story that offers different insights into the study abroad experience. And whatever you read on this blog will be real experiences, the good and the bad. Please reach out if you are willing to share your own experiences and valuable tips for others (Instagram: elena.kelety). With that series starting, I also created the opportunity to sign-up for notifications once I post a new blogpost.

If you’re considering moving to the US to study or have already done so, I’d love to connect with you! Feel free to reach out with your questions or share your personal experiences. Let’s build a community where we can learn from each other.

I’ll shed some light on why I finished my Master’s faster than expected and share more insights about my time in the US. It’s a journey full of challenges and triumphs, and I look forward to sharing the details with you.

I would love to read comments, connect with others, and have everyone share their thoughts. What topics would you like to read more about? Your input is valuable as I continue this blogging journey. Thank you for being a part of this community, and I look forward to the conversations ahead!
